I'm a 26 year-old living in Tokyo, who misses having the "big" garden I had back home. However, the one thing I have learnt from the Japanese is that one 500 ml pet bottle is good enough to grow a plant in, and that you can grow pretty much anything (or not? We'll see...) on a tiny balcony. I take it this is the reason behind the size of Japanese vegetables. But anyway, trying to cram as many pots as possible into our balcony, and recycling some Coca Cola bottles too :D
Apart from gardening, I think crafts are great fun. I suck at them, but having all these craft materials all over the place and quite a bit of time on my hands, I'm sure I can get somewhere! Just need to keep at it... results will be posted too! :)
